We weren’t all inclusive so we’re ordering al a Carte, or should I say al a Carte once, once was enough. It would definitely need to improve for me to justify paying the usual prices.įor high season value for money this is a good bet. Looking at prices for next year, I wouldn't bother. The holiday was quite cheap so I didn't expect too much. Close enough to everything but far enough to be relaxed. The location is great for exploring Ayia Napa. I think as the hotel is running at reduced capacity some standards may have slipped. Anyway, it kept the kids busy for a few hours and there was enough loungers. Luckily it isn't far to get a drink from the snack bar in the hotel. Waterpark was nothing special, a little dated and the walls around the lazy river & wave pool could do with a good clean. The pool bar in the waterpark was closed. Maybe this was the reason for the poor Entertainment. The staff that were working worked very hard and long days. I'm not sure if it was due to COVID and less people being there that they seemed to have very few staff. No food available after 9pm until breakfast. The staff were very efficient at serving you drinks and clearing the tables. Not a massive choice but never struggled to find something to eat. The pools would look much better if the area was cleaned regularly and they were lit up at night. Most nights after the life guard had gone most people got back in again. I felt this was a little early to close the pool. Ice cream and food on the floor attracting ants. Often littered with plastic glasses & straws which are still there the following day. Patio area was clean and enough room to sit out. 30+ every day and aircon in the room worked well. Shower good, but sink didn't have cold water, it always run warm (not great for brushing teeth). Room was clean and spacious but quality of the towels left a lot to be desired. 3 of us in a twin room, ground floor, pool side. Luckily McDonald's is just a few mins walk. Nowhere in the hotel to get food or drink other than a glass of water. Short delay at the airport & arrived at the hotel about 1am. I feel most of the hotel ONLY catered for the Russians, as everthing especially the nightly entertainment was all in Russian, other nationalities struggled to understand what was going on! This is our 12th time coming to Cyprus but it will be the last time we ever stay at the panthea Holiday Village. Elishia who took room numbers at the dining room was very rude and abrupt ad didn't wat to enter into any form of conversation in any way shape or form! The food left a lot to be desired and most evenings we ate out as was always just luke warm and not enough choice. Katrina the entertainment person constantly worked hard at making the best of what she had and was a ray of sunshine □ Andraios from the dining room/bar was lovely and made ppl feel welcome. The staff worked extremely hard especially dining room and bar staff. Andy in the restaurant is a great guy :) All in all we had a great time More Show lessĪfter arriving at 11pm we we're told no food was available only ahalf slice of curled u bread n ham that was kept in the fridge for a considerable amount of time, was onnly allowed 1 slice each which was thrown in the bin as it was not fit for human consumption in my opinion! The room was clean and tidy with a view of the pool and was ample for two ppl. Huge let down for the hotel as all the other staff are so lovely and go out of their way to make you smile and they work so hard all day long. I have never met anyone more rude and abrupt in my life, I seriously think this is something the hotel needs to look at as she makes you feel very uncomfortable and in one night alone we watched her have 4 arguments with 4 different guests. One thing i would complain about would be the lady that works on the door at the restaurant. The water park is fantastic for both kids and adults although i would recommend you take your own rubber ring for the slides as there was only a dozen available and can be pretty annoying at peak times having to wait for one. Yes the food is pretty basic but for us as a family we aren't picky so we were happy with what was provided for the week, 2 weeks may have been a bit much. The Hotel is in a perfect location whether you want a family holiday or a boozy holiday with your mates the location in perfect. Firstly i just want to say what a great holiday we had.
